A woman decided to take matters into her own hands and hunt down 10 Mexican cartel members after her daughter was kidnapped.

When Karen was abducted, mum Miriam Rodríguez couldn’t believe how little authorities were willing to do to help her.

So, in a total boss lady move, she started her own investigation, going to unbelievable lengths for justice. After an awful lot of hard work, Miriam managed to dig out enough information to point fingers at one of Mexico’s most dangerous drug cartels, 'Los Zetas'.

After she managed to narrow down one of the men involved in her daughter’s kidnapping, the mother launched her investigation.

Unlike her Hollywood counterpart Liam Neeson in Taken, Miriam wasn't out for blood. She was simply looking for answers, as she carried out the investigation that authorities couldn't.
