3. Had trouble with my desk top as well last Oct

It took 4 trips to the local independent Mac Store repair shop to get it running, every time they fixed something, they screwed up something else.

The hard disk had gone bad, which they replaced with an incorrect replacement, then it was one software glitch after another as the tech seemed to find new & interesting ways to simply not get the job right.

I finally stood there on their sales floor and explained in a firm, but not terribly quiet voice as they were trying to sell units to other customers that I was tired of seeing them and I wanted the thing fixed properly so that I didn't have to waste time & gas to return.

I have since been rather vocal with those who I know have & use Macs regarding this experience and most likely have cost them some business.
