3. I've had a wheel get clogged up with gunk... dust, dog hair....

I was able to take the mouse apart and clean it up.

Looking at my current mouse, I don't see an easy way to open it up... and would probably be inclined to replace it since they're not terribly expensive.

Sometimes, the wheels, contacts, and buttons just wear out. I keep a supply of these sub $10 mouse devices on hand. Intractable Jan 15 #4
