I had a Yahoo account since forever — probably close to thirty years, for sure over twenty. In its original AT&T incarnation it was my first email account. Last month I started having problems similar to yours (though I’m not sure if I could log on even with my cell). I ended up just abandoning the account. Fortunately over the years I acquired other accounts, including a dedicated business account, so losing AT&T/Yahoo wasn’t too traumatic.
