1. Regarding photos and iTunes, lets see if someone more experiences can say. My feeling is to install iTunes. But I have not done iTunes on Windows for a few years.

2. Regarding the bad sync: it sounds like you have GOOGLE DRIVE, which is free online storage for documents, photos , music. Do you use this ? Do you want to use ?
