3. Go for it. I did it with an old Dell with Linux Mint. It was a Dell Dimension 8100 from 2001.

Partition it for dual-boot. This way, you can keep yor WIN 10 system and switch back and forth until you are comfortable.

I tried loading Linux Mint and Ubuntu on a 13 yr old desktop. Thunderbeast Jul 2019 #2
