3. Can you play the mp3 file from the SD card when the card is in your laptop?

Also, are there other mp3s on the SD card that will play in your car stereo? (I wasn't sure from your description if this related to a single file or several.) Is this a new card? If so, I'm wondering if it needs to be formatted. (You would need to check the player/device documentation regarding formatting.)

Have you tried doing a search for something like:
mp3 on SD card won't play in my [XYZ device] (with the device name in lieu of [XYZ device] )

No car I know of can play directly from an SD card. Your phone w/SD card inserted must be used CurtEastPoint Jul 2019 #4
