The new cartridges are Epson, bought from Target, which is where I bought the printer about 4-5 years ago.

I've bought my ink cartidges there for this printer with no problem all these years.

I've performed all of the suggestions posted by DU memebers (above), and ones I found using Google.

I did see some posts on Google where others over the years have had this problem with Epson printers.
That is the only brand name I saw regarding this issue.
