Epson printer gets a "Not Recognised error" when installing a new ink cartridge. [View all]

I have two new Epson black cartridges.
I've tried unsuccessfully to install one, and then the alternative one.

Neither are being recognized by my Epson printer.

When I re-einstall the almost empty previous black cartridge, it is recognized.

It does recognize the curreent partially used color cartridges.

HELP!
