9. Two different ones that are indeed FREE

Malwarebytes becomes free after 14-days I think it is because it has changed recently (I just downloaded a copy of it today). After the 14 days they will want you to pay for the service but I assume that the abbreviated version of it will continue to be free hopefully.

Another one that I've been using for years is SUPERAntiSpyware.

Both do the job and you don't spend a cent either! You must remember to run the scans weekly however.
