It is not locked down the way other boxes are so you can customize it as much as you want including using lets say less than authorized apps that connect to a ton of content.

If high def is a must though you will want to stick with the cable or the sanctioned apps. Live TV is difficult to come by in reliable high def in my experience.

The Android box do a lot but if you have a powerful computer, movies stream fine. DUar17 Mar 2017 #16
