5. I'd hang on to Malwarebytes

Malwarebytes comes in handy. I always recommend scanning with it periodically, depending on your surfing habits. Make sure you click the update button before scanning (updates malware signatures to deal with any new nasty stuff).

Clearing history couldn't hurt and it's probably something we should all do every now and again. I'd clear everything (history, cache, cookies) if I thought I was infected. I forget if ADW clears cookies associated with bad sites, but I suspect it does. If you're in doubt, a quick scan with HitmanPro (step 4, I think) does wonders with bad cookies if you go to its settings and make sure Scan for Tracking Cookies is checked.
