3. The intolerance for dissent in the Tory party...

is getting quite worrying.

It used to be the Labour Party that sometimes went overboard with deselections; Tory rebels might be sacked or passed over for Cabinet positions but not kicked out of the Party.

There's this about it, however: if Boris does similar stuff in the end to enough Tory MPs, he will end up risking his majority.

PS I'm no special fan of arch-Brexiteer Lewis, but the thought of Grayling in charge of anything with 'Intelligence' in its name is essence of pure irony, doubly distilled!
