with a man who voted for trump. i love him but that makes it harder.
he's the only one with whom i could converse. we could argue civilly. we both know where the other stands, and why. his issue is taxes. he's not as racist as, say, my foxbot brother, but he's willing to let the white supremacists be in power if it means he doesn't have to pay so many taxes.

our company was taken over and essentially destroyed so we don't work together anymore, but we see each other at meet ups and i have to admit that i am still very fond of him as much as i deplore his politics.

i entertain a sort of open hostility toward other coworkers who voted trump. i don't know however how many of them have seen the insanity and regret their vote. these are all very well educated scientists by the way. so go figure.
