get called "buddy". Both of my grandmother's are from there. Great people. Great place. Mahone Bay and Hurtles Beach are the vacation places I spent the most time in. Lunenberg too. Beautiful. Just driving along the countryside you come across the cutest little hills called drumlins left behind by the last iceage. I like Thomas Raddall's "Halifax: Warden of the North" for a salty history of the city. And don't be shy to order a Donair as a midnight snack.
