Abortion bill signed into law draws praise, criticism [View all]
WYOMING Governor Mark Gordon today signed into law HB103, Reporting of Abortions drawing overwhelming support from the majority GOP congregation at the state capital and mostly denigration from state Democrats.
The bill would require additional reporting be done by doctors performing abortions in Wyoming, and would impose fines and penalties for failure to do so in a timely manner.
Stating that the protection of life is one of the most fundamental underpinnings of Republican values, Wyoming Republican Party Chairman Frank Eathorne was at the governors side when he signed the bill into law this morning.
It will be an honor to witness Wyomings head of the Republican Party signing this measure into law, which helps protect the most innocent and helpless among usthe unborn, Eathorne said.

There is only one doctor in Wyoming that performs abortions.
