Cowster. He was great, and a gorgeous cinnamon color. Loved peppermints. The guy that worked on my tractor was appalled--how are you ever going to eat an animal that you've named? I said, the Cowboy (he went by many names), never has to worry about being eaten.

How ignorant. Yes, 45 cows. Husband and wife, maybe some kids and farmhands. Yes, small family farm.

Large family farms produce about 66% of dairy products. Small family farms can't compete.
