1. Well, duh ... but that's not the problem

This approach to this issue will never amount to anything,

"If we could just get through to him and make him understand, it would be alright" ain't gonna cut it

Love said her Haitian-born parents who live in Connecticut are a "clear example" because they supported the Republican president even though they felt it was "not nice" when he used an expletive to describe their homeland.


As if understanding the cognitive reality of the issues or the persons mattered one iota.

Non-understanding is merely corollary to the real problem:

HE JUST DOES NOT CARE

As is the case with most any issue in front of his face:

Immigration/border security - the plight of migrants, children

Tariffs - the plight of farmers and labor

The environment - climate change

Corruption - "Drain the Swamp"

His own stupid family - nepotism lack of qualifications

His own legal issues ...

Any indication that he doesn't understand does not get to the root of the problem:

HE JUST DOES NOT CARE
