9. Yes and No. But my point was more about how DHS PERCEIVES DEMs at this point.

Even though, the people shooting up schools and churches - mass murdering children or people just trying to get through their day - are NOT DEMS, if they can pull a FALSE Equivalency, it seems like they will.

While I agree far right extremists, out of state, rural Minnesota and anarchists were joining the protests to make trouble and blame it on DEMs, BLM and Antifa, I do think some local people who were honestly frustrated got caught up in it.

The daytime protests were peaceful. Night time was bad.

BUT because it happened on OUR WATCH we are being blamed. So the PERCEPTION that DEMs are sick and tired, and the one off his rocker DEM who went after SCOTUS Kavanaugh adds to the perception.

STILL mainly you are right, it wasn't the aim of BLM, DEMs or Antifa to cause destruction.

We had rallies at George Floyd Square and speakers advised people to either not go at night and observe the curfew (We did wind up with the National Guard here for a while. I live in the area that was served by the Fifth Precinct building that was destroyed.) Or failing that to not get involved with property damage.

I am still seeing a lot of out of state license plates in the Twin Cities area, so I think groups are still making trouble here. Still have lots of shots fired, so the 2nd Amendment folks are very active.

We had a huge wave of car jackings for awhile too.

I do believe most of this is being pushed from outside, but many who were arrested from Minnesota were from more suburb or rural areas. There have been a lot of Anarchist tagging and they would join in just to muddy the waters.

You are right, the worst offender was from Boogaloo Bois Texas, he fired a gun in 5th precinct and set fires.

However, there was rioting and looting and property damage during the nights for several weeks and it spread past Minneapolis/St Paul. Most of it was Third Degree Burglary - running into stores and looting. But some of the people setting fires or being involved in the store at the time were from Minnesota even if very few were from the Twin Cities.
