Somebody has pissed someone off! Probably the bars long lower Broadway getting pissed that their 85 year old 'attraction' aspect has now faded and they don't like the newbies taking their business. So, in typical business fashion, instead of making themselves more appealing, they just 'regulate' the competition out of business. I do love how they want to bring up 'crowding' and 'noise' issues. Go walk down Broadway between 1st. and 9th. street on a weekend or go to a hockey game and talk to me about 'noise' and/or 'crowding'. The businesses wanted the circus, and now they don't want to deal with what that entails? Hysterical...
