For the at-large seats - top 7 vote-getters win, with 2 seats that must be reserved for a "minority party". In the past, that "minority party" was the Republican party but now with the Working Families Party in the mix, they took one of the seats 4 years ago and look to be talking the 2nd one this year if this holds (snapshot taken ~12:44 am EST 11/8/23)!

The other 10 Councilmanic District seats have 9 (D)s and a returning 1 (R).
