I'm okay, I think. He didn't get me, told him I'd kill him and he got the picture. Knowing about it wasn't cool but I wasn't the Lone Ranger. At least one in four females in this country experience some form of sex abuse by the time they are fifteen, probably more than that. I don't know one female 20+ who hasn't experienced an attempted or successful rape. It sucks but that's always been life for females in this country from what I've always known.

When you realize it's the actual reality of nearly half the population (I'm guessing here), you understand what a problem it really is. Children of any gender are not immune either, I'm just isolating an age group in my example but it by no means the scope of the problem relative to age.
