Adams lashes out at Cuomo for running to unseat him in NYC mayoral race: 'Go find your own house'

Mayor Adams said Tuesday that Andrew Cuomo really shouldn’t be running against him in this year’s race for City Hall, arguing the ex-governor should “go find your own house.”

“I was here already, why are you in my race, you know what I’m saying?” Adams said of Cuomo.

“It’s like almost when you have a house somewhere, someone who’s trying to move in, it’s like: Go find your own house.”

After President Trump’s Justice Department secured a controversial dismissal of his federal corruption indictment this month, Adams dropped out of June’s Democratic mayoral primary and announced he’d seek reelection as an independent candidate in November’s general election instead.
