Pittsford mayoral election decided by one vote [View all]

Pittsford Village held its mayoral election on March 18 and results show the mayor's race was decided by one vote.

Incumbent Alysa Plummer and trustee Lisa Cove were in the running for mayor, while several candidates for trustee were on the ballot.

According to the Monroe County Board of Elections, Cove received 257 votes, and Plummer received 258 votes, winning by just one.

Coming out of this race, Cove said the biggest message for her was how they ran a great positive campaign and how she made a conscious effort to get to the people.
