Founder of the Guardian Angels and Radio Talkshow Host who bloviates during the midnight hours.

By Adams choosing the run as an Independent, it could split the non-Republican voters (Democrats) and Sliwa has a remote chance of winning the General Election.

Adams truly doesn't care about the City by this choice.

And BTW, he knows that he might assist Sliwa get elected. He'd rather have Sliwa in Gracie Mansion (who regularly denigrated and insulted Adams on his show) than Andrew Cuomo.
