3. Perhaps the door dash people

could invest in or participate in a bag exchange where everybody starts out with some cloth bags that are exchanged when delivery takes place. Kind of like how milk bottle exchanges used to happen.

At the progressive-minded, employee owned place where I get groceries they have a bag exchange and the put out boxes too for shoppers who don't have or forgot their bags. The bags are loaners so taht you can use it and bring it back next time you come to shop. It's a nice program and cuts down on the number of bags we see caught in trees in our lovely but windy town.

Maybe some system of that kind would help, it just isn't proper to pack your groceries like that. And the door dash folks need to get some bagging skills, that mess is just wrong. Besides, walmart has reusable bags, that person should have purchased a couple and added it to the tab, I would have sent them back with that cart of stuff.

Perhaps you should let the door dash higher-ups know about that and suggest a bag exchange. If it was me, I'd be letting the door dash folks know that this is unacceptable, I mean, you PAY them for the service, correct? This is a less than kind of thing, you got less than what you're paying for. They must have some guarantee of getting your order to you in some acceptable fashion, right? You deserve better than what you got and paid for.
