6. I don't think that's what the results meant. A lot of people don't vote in an uncontested primary,

which this really was on the Dem side. There was never any question that Biden would win it, and the only people who cared about "sending a message" with their votes were those, mostly in the 5th CD, who were voting performatively to protest the situation in Gaza. I doubt those will be Trump voters, and now that the choice is binary most will understand staying home benefits Trump, and he would be far worse for Gaza and for them. On the GOP side despite TFG's dominance it wasn't a truly uncontested primary, and although Haley's chances were slim they weren't zero - she did win DC and Vermont, after all. And maybe the knuckle-dragging red-hats Up North wanted to defeat Haley once and for all.

Actually, I did vote in the primary in part to send a message - to Dean Phillips. I hope he got it.
