Advocates for the education method say parents should not have to be held accountable by the government for making decisions about their own children.


If the kids are being neglected or abused, the fuck they shouldn't! I don't care if you were the parent or not, if the kid is in a situation where they are being hurt, ignored, or tortured, the state needs to step in. As usual, these attempts at keeping 'parent's rights' are just another smokescreen to do whatever they want... which can include murder... with near impunity. Hell, some of those cases are a joke, as the 'parent' gets off with like 20 years with probation offered around 8 or so... disgusting. Such children had no chance at a life thanks to people like this, and they are not incarcerated forever? Yay American Justice!
