More profit and less regulation. So they contribute to the party that supports those desires -- Republicans. Aside from just wishful thinking, if the MSM puts out messaging that Republicans will win BIG, then that is part of their strategy to discourage Dem voters. Republicans will win anyway, so why bother to vote? It's quite insidious. So even if Republicans do win, you still need to vote. It's not just our right, it's our civic duty. Besides, even if Republicans do win, there's always the next election.

I live in Dallas county TX, which went overwhelming Dem all up and down the ticket. That's really a miracle. Texas is still a long way from turning blue, but the big urban centers of Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso are now very blue. We just need to do a better job of appealing to rural voters.
