Macomb Prosecutor Pete Lucido, Once Sidelined For Allegedly Touching Butts, Is Still Touching Butts [View all]

Old habits apparently die hard for Pete Lucido.

The Macomb County Republican prosecutor — who lost a committee chairmanship in the state Legislature in 2020 after an internal probe found he likely rested his hand on the upper butts of a female colleague and business leader, making them uncomfortable — has posted a photo showing himself touching yet another woman's butt.

The picture publicized by Crain's reporter Chad Livengood shows Lucido with his arms around two supporters at a late July birthday party and campaign fundraiser. While Lucido appears to have one hand placed on the male supporter's back, his other rests lower, on the woman's posterior, in a move awkward enough to require him to pose at a sort of tilt.

Lucido, who did not immediately reply to a request for comment, was elected last year after former prosecutor Eric Smith fell to corruption charges.

In addition to the woman who got her butt touched, guests at Lucido's 61st b-day bash included 'White Boy' Rick Wershe, Jr. and former Detroit Police Chief James Craig, who is now running for governor as a Republican and gave a speech. Photos show Lucido touching both in more appropriate places.
