3. I bought a gallon of gasoline for the snow blower... just in case.

Gasoline doesn't keep forever, so if I haven't used it by spring, I'll add it to the tank of my car.

I learned long ago (the hard way) that it doesn't pay to NOT clear the driveway of snow, especially if cold weather is going to hang around after the snow. --- Fluffy snow will compact, partially melt, then REFREEZE into a solid chunk of ice that can neither be shoveled, nor cleaned with the snowblower. It's just a big ol' mess.

I complain, but MD winters aren't as bad as western PA winters... so I guess I should count my blessings.
