Biden press secretary defends president's trips to Delaware home [View all]

Home is where the heart is — and for President Joe Biden that's apparently both the White House and Delaware.

In the month and a half since becoming the country's commander in chief, Biden has traveled to Wilmington two times and spent a weekend at Camp David in Maryland.

When a reporter asked about these trips, press secretary Jen Psaki defended his decision to return to Delaware. It also sparked stories in at least two right-leaning news outlets.

"The president lives in Wilmington. It's his home," Psaki said. "That's where he's lived for many, many years."
