..in more and more states where Republicans rule the roost in the legislatures. Here in Kansas, we are expecting to see Republicans loosen the ethics committee guidelines for relations between legislators and lobbyists. Across the river in Missouri, there is movement to make citizen initiatives more difficult. By all appearances, Republicans seem to be increasingly authoritarian minded and seeking to promote a restrictions for thee but not for me approach to government.
