AZFamily: At least 1 dead after jets collide at Scottsdale Airport [View all]

Another airport mishap.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — At least one person is dead after two jets collided on the runway at Scottsdale Airport, sources tell Arizona’s Family.

Around 2:45 p.m., multiple emergency crews responded to reports of an emergency at the airport, near Scottsdale and Thunderbird roads.

According to the FAA, a “Learjet 35A veered off the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 business jet on the ramp.”

Video obtained by Arizona’s Family shows the moment of impact as it skirts through the runway.

Scottsdale fire officials say one person was found dead upon arrival, while three people were hospitalized. A fifth person is still stuck inside one of the jets.

Arizona’s Family Investigates has learned the Learjet is registered to Chromed in Hollywood which is registered in Wyoming with a principal agent listed as Vince Neil as with a Franklin, Tennessee mailing address.

Flight tracking site ADS-B Exchange showed the flight was coming in from Austin.

Apologies for misspelling the band's name. That's pretty bad.
