1. Morning & late afternoon light are the same but for haze and dust

Morning air typically has less haze and dust due to cooler night air and lighter winds overnight. Dust and haze filter out blue rays preferentially, so they make for warmer colour. This is why late afternoons tend to be warmer coloured.

On the other hand, North of the equator, less than two weeks from solstice, 6:30 am is "earlier", warmer, than 6:30 am in June. This favours warmer colours in December.
