Classic rock is IMO less about an era than it is about a wide range of rock subgenres that we baby boomers heard constantly and saw expand in all directions, thanks to the huge audience and radio that wasn't completely shackled by corporations. But rock doesn't have an expiration date, any more than classical or country or blues or techno/electronic (which has already been around for several decades) have expiration dates. Pop music is probably the most affected and dated by trends.

And The Band Feel are definitely not pop.

I agree with you that Glamrock would like them.
