All the Beatles had going for them was good production, a lengthy apprenticeship playing small venues and learning how to keep a show going, Lennon and McCartney had no rivalry at least in the beginning, oh yeah, and George Harrison who developed into a monster lead guitarist and Ringo Starr, maybe one of the greatest drummers of all time. Ringo's mistake was he made it look too easy.
