I try to group my yarn together by fiber type. I use the designations wool, acrylic, cotton, novelty, baby yarn and so on. I have several plastic storage bins that I use, but I've outgrown the ones I have now and need to fall back and regroup. My biggest problem is unfinished projects. I always have a few things going at one time, but things have gotten out of hand. I have decided that after the holidays, I will set a goal to either finish or rip out at least 2 projects for every one that I start until I get things down to a manageable level.
