(22,077 posts)12. Youtube has tons of 12 hr videos of music/noise to help you sleep. Probably 1000's of them.
Most of them that use black screens after a few minutes. I use them ALL the time.

Unless it is heavy rain/light thunder, hurricane or high winds, I always will have some sort of background noise.

Interesting. I used to just have sports on at low volume and would just leave it on and I would end up falling asleep

I used to sleep to BBC when I worked overseas in non-English speaking countries... it was soothing...

It is easily portable. The noise is audible, but it's not loud or obnoxious. It's soothing.

I bought a detacated sound machine years ago. I liked it...I can sleep with it or without it..But I liked it.I now use
