Christian faith. It is anti-Christian, a subsersive intrusion aimed at using Christianity's influence for political and monetary gain. Seeing the influence that the United States has as a world superpower, the Catholic church appears to be distancing itself from any open support of it, and positioning itself to participate in opposition to it.
