2. As a member of the ACLU for 48 years I agree

The ACLU is needed to protect our civil liberties regardless of which political party is in power. There are dozens of organizations that focus on international conflicts, and I wholeheartedly support their goals. In particular, I support the work of The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) in Gaza. But that is not the mission of the ACLU.
