I didn’t get to see Cory though. I had to walk so far because there were no parking spaces. Every single one was taken, and there were tons of county police driving the area, so no illegal parking.

By the time I got there, his speech was over. However, it was a very fun atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and while I didn’t see anyone I knew (this was in a neighborhood where I lived for 20 years), I had many pleasant conversations with about five different people.

For a former advertising copywriter, my sign was not all that clever. It said something important, though: “Thank you Attorney General
Matt Platkin, for suing Trump.” I asked someone to take a picture with my camera of me and my sign. I am going to email the picture to AG Platkin tomorrow. My AG is one of 16 Democratic attorneys general who are suing Trump for his egregious executive orders.

I have always been an active protester, but I feel very good tonight, seeing what a success the protests were across the world. I am happy to have been a participant.
