Infected with bird flu? What are their food safety laws? And now we can't rely on our inspections any longer.

As far as "staleness" the eggs we have always been getting at the supermarket are usually 30 to 60 days old and can be up to 8 months. The only way to get fresh eggs is from local egg farmers or farmers markets.


**well I looked up food safety in Turkey and it was written to comply hto EU rules for food safety so the eggs should be okay.
