The League of Women Voters of Hays County (Texas) and Mano Amiga San Marcos are hosting one of them.

The map showing Texas as not yet having enacted restrictive voting laws in not accurate. Although the Dems denied the House a quorum during the regular session and now in the special session on the big omnibus voting bills, Abbott managed to sign into law SB 1111 which targets rural and mobile populations - like college kids and the poor. Anyone who lists a post office box for their address will receive and have to sign and return an affidavit within 30 days or their application for a voter certificate will have it denied.
