Without getting too lengthy about it, psychopath is what the test designer termed it and what everyone called it until the most recent DSM. Many people prefer malignant narcissist, but they're the same thing. The latter term captures the gist of recent findings that it's a spectrum disorder, with narcissist at the lower end of the spectrum. It's not an all-or-nothing disorder.

Sociopath is basically a learned disorder - e.g. bad upbringing causes person to live by a different set of rules - nurture, not nature. Narciss & Psych have about a 50% inherited component, the rest is learned. This is quite variable.
