Moore to meet with Bannon, Alabama House members

Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore is in Washington to meet with former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and House members of the Alabama congressional delegation, multiple Republican officials confirmed Wednesday.
The meetings come about a week after the former Alabama Supreme Court judge won a hotly contested primary runoff against Sen. Luther Strange. Immediately after that victory Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the McConnell-aligned Senate Leadership Fund super PAC, said they would support Moore in the general election after backing Strange.
Moore's plans did not include meetings with Strange, McConnell, or Sen. Richard Shelby, a close Strange ally.

Moore was set to meet with Bannon Wednesday morning and House members in the afternoon. The meetings were first reported by The Washington Post.
