about capitalism. It has lifted more people out of poverty than anything else ever tried. Its far from perfect and we have a long way to go. But I'm not aware of a better system. (I fully expect to have an email informing me that this post has been deleted and I have a strike as I assume this is a dreaded and super evil "right wing talking point."

I agree with you, its true. And right now we have (along the long arc of the history of the human race) good times and weak men.
And I agree, although I do not long for toil and bloodshed, people need to remember what it took to found this nation, and the steps that can (if necessary) be taken -- lawfully -- to defend it from evil and tyranny.
