“A family member received the exact prostate cancer diagnosis Joe Biden received. Metastasized to bone, Gleason Score of 10 (slightly higher than Biden’s). They don’t remove the prostate if the cancer has metastisized, so hormone therapy is the way to go. Hormone-sensitive is good news, and there are many drugs available. My family member is still very much alive 13 years after his diagnosis, and it is now treated more like a chronic disease. I am praying for Pres. Biden.“

There is a 33% survival rate 5 years after dx w/ Gleason 9 prostate cancer w/ met to bone.

Me too, same year. Had the lump ectomy the chemo, the radiation and it hasn't come back knock on wood

Yes. That's what my husband's urologist told him. My husband is also 83, but cancer free
