Nixon, Ed Meese, Caspar Weinberger, Donald Trump, Robert MacFarlane, Elliot Abrams, Donald Trump, Oliver North, John Poindexter, Clarence Thomas, Donald Trump, Scooter Libby, Richard Armitage, Donald Trump, Tom DeLay, David Petraeus, Donald Trump, Elliott Broidy, and Donald Trump have all gotten away with crimes.

The highest government official to serve jail time was Dennis Hastert, and that was only because he was a child molester.
