16. This is the fundamental human dilemma.

People who seek total domination focus on that. All their energy is directed at this single goal. Undistracted by ethics or other concerns, they manage to put a lot of time and resources into fulfilling this goal. No wonder they're often successful.

The rest of us just want to live our lives. We don't want total domination over others. Nor do we want to fight with those who do. We want to have happy lives enjoying our work, hobbies, friends and families.

So here comes total domination bearing down on us like an avalanche.
